தனியார் வங்கியான யெஸ் வங்கி, தற்போது கடும் நிதி நெருக்கடியைச் சந்தித்துள்ளது. வாராக்கடன் அதிகமாகி முதலீட்டாளர்களுக்குப் பணம் கொடுக்க முடியாத சூழலில் யெஸ் வங்கியைத் தனது பொறுப்பில் ரிசர்வ் வங்கி எடுத்துக்கொண்டது. முதலீட்டாளர்களின் பணத்துக்கு எந்தவிதமான பாதிப்பும் ஏற்படாது என்று உறுதியளித்த போதிலும் வங்கியில் இருந்து டெபாசிட் தாரர்கள் ரூ.50 ஆயிரம் மட்டுமே எடுக்க முடியும் எனக் கட்டுப்பாடு வைத்துள்ளது.

இதுபோன்ற இக்கட்டான நிதி நெருக்கடிக்கு ெயஸ் வங்கி செல்லும் என உணர்ந்த திருப்பதி ஏழுமலையான் கோயில் தேவஸ்தான நிர்வாகிகள் கடந்த சில மாதங்களுக்கு முன்புதான் யெஸ் வங்கியில் இருந்த ரூ.1,300 கோடி டெபாசிட்டை திரும்பப் பெற்றுள்ளார்கள். திருப்பதி தேவஸ்தானத்தின் தலைவரும் ரிசர்வ் வங்கியின் முன்னாள் கவர்னருமான ஒய்வி சுப்பா ரெட்டி தொலைநோக்குப் பார்வையுடன் சிந்தித்து பணம் முழுவதையும் எடுக்கும்படி, நிர்வாகிகள் கூட்டத்தில் கூறியுள்ளார்.

அதன்படி தேவஸ்தானம் விரைவாகச் செயல்பட்டு ரூ.1,300 கோடி டெபாசிட்டை எடுத்துள்ளது. ஆனால், ஒடிசா மாநிலம், பூரியில் உள்ள ஸ்ரீ பூரி ஜெகந்தார் கோயில் நிர்வாகம் யெஸ் வங்கியில் டெபாசிட் எடுக்காமல் சிக்கிக்கொண்டது. ஸ்ரீ பூரி ஜெகந்நாதர் கோயில் நிர்வாகம் யெஸ் வங்கியில் ரூ.547 கோடி டெபாசிட் செய்த நிலையில் இப்போது பணத்தை எடுக்க முடியாமல் சிக்கலில் இருக்கிறது. ஏற்கெனவே யெஸ்வங்கி ரூ.47 கோடியைப் பூரி ஜெகந்நாதர் கோயில் நிர்வாகத்துக்கு அளித்துள்ளது.

மீதமுள்ள பணத்தை மார்ச் 19-ம் தேதி, 23-ம் தேதி, மற்றும் 29-ம் தேதி ஆகிய தேதிகளில் மூன்று தவணைகளாகப் பிரித்துத் தந்துவிடுவதாக வங்கி நிர்வாகம் தெரிவித்துள்ளது. ஆனால், இப்போது ரிசர்வ் வங்கி கட்டுப்பாட்டில் வங்கி வந்துவிட்டதால், ஜெகந்நாதர் கோயில் நிர்வாகத்துக்கு உரிய தேதியில் டெபாசிட் தொகை கிடைக்குமா என்ற கேள்வி எழுந்துள்ளது.
